Buzz TV Box Setup

After turning on the box for the first time, it will go through a number of updates, both for Android and for Buzz TV App. Please do not power off during these updates.

Once the update is completed:

• Please select the main settings icon and then servers. Under server name, please type in ULTRA HD.
• Under server URL, please enter the Portal URL which was given to you by us.
• Please leave the Use Credentials unselected.
• If you haven’t aleady provided us: Please make note of your MAC Address in the upper left and provide it to us.

When done, please select OK on your screen, then go back to Live TV.

Enjoy the service.

STB Emulator basically clones the Mag’s interface and can be used on Android Devices or Windows using Android Emulators like Bluestacks.

Download STB Emulator from the Google Playstore. There are two versions; paid and free. The paid version is ad free.

1. OPEN STB EMU APP

2. SELECT THE MENU BUTTON OR HOLD DOWN THE OK BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE, THEN SELECT SETTINGS

3. UNDER COMMON SETTINGS, SCROLL DOWN AND SELECT NETWORK SETTINGS

4. UNCHECK THE BOX FOR ENABLED NETWORK CACHE, THEN CLICK BACK

7. CHANGE PROFILE NAME TO ULTRA HD IPTV, THEN SELECT OK

10. DELETE THE DEFAULT URL AND ENTER THE PORTAL URL WE SENT YOU, SELECT OK, THEN CLICK BACK

11. SELECT STB CONFIGURATION

12. SELECT MAC ADDRESS

13. CHANGE THE MAC ADDRESS TO THE ONE YOU SENT US, SELECT OK, THEN CLICK BACK TO THE FIRST STB EMU APP SCREEN

Mac address for STB’s usually begins with 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. The X’s can be numbers ranging from 1-9 or Letters from A-F. This Mac address can be manipulated. The address you send us is the one that will be activated. if the Mac address you provided is already active then we will inform you so that you change it.

14. USING THE MENU BUTTON OR HOLDING DOWN THE OK BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE, OPEN THE RIGHT SIDE MENU, SCROLL DOWN AND SELECT PROFILE, THEN SELECT THE SERVER

15. STB EMU APP WILL NOW START CONNECTING TO THE SERVER

Install Perfect Player from the Playstore or from here http://niklabs.com/

• 1. Open Perfect Player
• 2. Open Perfect Player Settings Menu (cog icon)
• 3. Select General
• 4. Select Playlist 1
• 5. Enter the m3u line you received by email in this format
  Example : http://be.trendsetter.today:25461/get.php?username=YOUR-USERNAME-HERE&password=YOUR-PASSWORD-HERE&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

  (Remember to replace your m3u Username and Password which was given in your email confirmation from us)

• 6. Give the playlist a name
• 7. Select OK
• 8. Select EPG 1
• 9. Enter the xmltv line you received by email in this format
• Example: http://be.trendsetter.today:25461/xmltv.php?username=xxxx&password=xxxxx

  Delete the xxxx after username= in the url at the top and enter your username ( CHECK FOR TYPOS )

  Delete the xxxx after password= in the url and enter your password ( CHECK FOR TYPOS )

• 10. Change download if no data on current date to Download at Each Update (drop down menu click on little triangle)

  Select OK

• 11. Press Back Twice
• 12. Press the 3 line button on remote/c on keyboard/touch screen touch little square icon top lef
• 13. Change Epg Show Epg to Epg Hide Epg

If all steps have been done correctly and there are no typos you should have a Channel List and EPG If it doesn’t load a Channel List or EPG the corresponding url has a typo you have done it wrong.

Please note, in order to get the best playback experience try different decoder options in settings.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Change decoder to software
Pixelation on VOD change decoder to Hardware or HW+
Settings (Cog Icon) > Playback > Decoder > Choose Decoder Required
(Use Auto as default and change back after)

EPG has disappeared after web grab

Settings(Cog Icon) > Epg 1 > Change to Download at Each Update > Select OK > Press back twice let guide populate > go back to Epg 1 > Change to Download once a day

Limited EPG

Check you are set to Download once a day and not to Download if no data on current date Settings (Cog Icon) > General > Epg 1 > Change Download Setting > Select OK for it to take effect

Download the App from the App Store (Cloud Stream IPTV Player)

• 1. Once installed open the app click the to add your M3u file.
• 2. Click the + Button to add the M3u file
• 3. You will then be presented with a new screen, Click on Load M3u File and add the m3u link which was sent to you.
• 4. Once Loaded a new screen will be presented, Name the Playlist as InsightIPTV. then choose your country (Choosing the country will also help with setting up the EPG).
• 5. The App will load the channels from the m3u link entered. You should now see the channels and the EPG.
• 6. You can also check the EPG section on the app.

Method 1

The first thing to do is install putty, a free SSH/Telnet Windows client: http://www.putty.org/
Next, you need to know your enigma2 device IP, just turn it on, open the settings menu, go to system, select network and then, Adapter Settings.

Write down the IP of your device, write it at PuTTY screen (in the Host Name or IP address box), choose Telnet for connection type and press open.

We’re going to install our script to watch ULTRA HD IPTV on your box, login at your box through PuTTY again, login as “root” again, and copy and paste the line that you have received from us below.

The first step is to download and install the latest Kodi. You will then need to choose the PVR client for this purpose. To do this, select Navigation to TV and then hit the Add-on browser tab. See the screenshot below:

Open Kodi

Highlight TV

Select Enter add-on browser

Select PVR IPTV Simple Client

Select Configure

Select General

Location to Remote Path (Internet Address)

Then Select M3U Play List URL

You will now go and click the m3u Playlist URL. You will be required to add your m3u link. Just paste the m3u link that we have offered you when you signed up with us. You must make sure that the type is set to “m3u_plus and also the output is set at ts. Once you are sure of this, hit OK. See the screenshots below:

If you have an M3U text file stored locally on your network/computer/box then set the Locationto Local Path (include Local Network)

Then Select M3U Play List URL

Navigate to where the file is stored and select it

Select OK

Select Enable

Wait for notification of channels loaded

Now when you go back to the Home Screen and select TV it should look like this

If everything has been done right, it should be easy to see all the channels listed. Once the program has finished loading all the files, just restart Kodi. You will see all channels now.

Setting EPG

Now Navigate to the “EPG Settings” and click on the XMLTV URL Bar to set our XMLTV Url.

• • Step 1: Start KODI.
  • Step 2: Proceed to PVR IPTV Simple Client and select “Configure”.
  • Step 3: Select “EPG Settings”.
  • Step 4: On “Location” select “Remote Path (Internet address)” and enter “EPG URL” at”XMLTV URL”.

The EPG works like this : http://be.trendsetter.today:25461/xmltv.php?username=xxxx&password=xxxxx

Replace XXX with your m3u username and XXXX with your m3u password which you can see in your m3u file which should look like this :http://be.trendsetter.today:25461/get.php?username=YOUR-USERNAME-HERE&password=YOUR-PASSWORD-HERE&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

• • Step 5: Click “OK” and reboot your KODI device.

Now TV guide will be added next to your TV channels.

Important Notice: This application is not a free to use product and it must be activated for a small fee.

• Step 1: Start by downloading the smart IPTV app (SIPTV) for your smart TV. Write down the Mac address of the device as shown on the screen when the app starts go to www.siptv.eu and click activation and activate your device:
• Step 2: Now you need to upload the playlist. Click on, My List
• Step 3. Here you must place your TV mac address and the m3u URL and click on Add link.
• Step 4 Enter your playlist (m3u url) into the bottom middle box.
• Copy the M3U Playlist URL given from your EMAIL. Please check your junk folder if email is not found in your inbox.
• Step 5 Pick the I am not a robot box and do caption if required.
• Step 6 Check ‘save online’ and detect EPG
• Step 7 Press add link you should see a message saying playlist added on website.
• Step 8 Close app on tv then reopen it you will see that all channels have been added to your smart iptv.
• Step 9 Watch our IPTV channels 

NOTE: If you closed the Application, and did NOT receive any channels, please go to http://siptv.eu/mylist/, and enter your MAC Address on the last box called “Reset Playlist”. (See Picture Below) Then click “Reset” after you pick the I am not a robot box and do caption if required. After you reset, proceed back to step 4.

– VOD (Video on Demand) uses a lot of cache, The memory on some smart TVs is poor. Adding a USB stick can help with memory.

Download and install VLC Media Player

• 1. Open up VLC Media Player
• 2. Simply Drag & Drop the downloaded m3u file into your VLC or open it via Media > Open File > “Choose your .m3u file”

You now should be able to watch IPTV

In order to switch Channels go to “View” in the Menu strip and navigate to “Playlist” (CTRL + L or command + L on MAC)

You will now see a list of Channels available to choose from you can use the search function to find a Channel.

Obtaining Mac Address from the device:

• 1) Let the STB Boot Up
• 2) Finish any update that it may find.
• 3) It will bring you to the server menu (where you enter portal information)
• 4) Press the Exit button on the remote and click on OK.
• 5) This will bring you to the main DOL screen, the MAC address in upper right corner

You will need the Mac address when subscribing to our service (if you choose to have it on the dreamlink box) Once you have filled out a order form with us and your order has finished being processed you will need to setup your device onto our service.

Setup ULTRA HD IPTV on DOL:

• 1) In Dreamlink On Line (DOL) go to Settings
• 2) Press the green button on your remote to pull up the edit option
• 3) for the portal name use “ULTRA HD IPTV”
• 4) for the portal URL use the links which have been sent to you by us.

Connect your MAG box to your TV and to your internet router.

It takes around 30-60 seconds to boot, once it do it you can go to (settings) and select (interface). It’s here you tell it where to go when it loads up. You can also change here your weather information to be shown in Fahrenheit or in Celsius.

Now you need to go to (system settings) and choose (Network) and then Auto (DHCP).
Choose now (Auto update software) and set auto update enabled. Press the F2 button (green button) to update the software

• Step 1: When the box is being loaded the main portal screen appears. After that click on “settings”, press remote button “SETUP/SET”.
• Step 2: Then press on “System settings” and click on “Servers”.
• Step 3: Select “Portals”
• Step 4: In the “Portal 1 name” line enter the following ” ULTRA HD IPTV “.
  In the “Portal 1 URL” enter the portal address provided by us.
• Step 5: When all the operations listed above is done, then press “OK”.
• When the settings are being saved click “EXIT” on the remote control and press option “General”.
• In the “NTP server,” line enter the following address “pool.ntp.org or us.pool.ntp.org” for North America.
• Press “OK” to save the changes you made.
• When all the steps listed above are done press”EXIT” 2 times on the remote control and restart the portal.
• Now everything is ready to start watching Live TV…

Tip: Please make sure the DNS on the MAG is set to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4, or the new Cloudflare DNS everyone is talking about, 1.1.1.1

Where to Find the MAC Address?

To find your mac address for MAG products please go to settings -> device info -> and you will see it listed.

Low sound output from MAG

Alot of people have had issues with low volume on a MAG after upgrading, switching portals, and even just after initial setup.

To correct this, please turn on a TV show. While watching the TV, with your MAG remote (not any other), hit the volume up. You should see a yellow (sometimes black) bar go all the way to the top.

If it is at the top, and the sound it still low, with your MAG remote, press and hold the Setup and OK buttons at the same time for about 2 seconds.

Point the remote back at the MAG BOX, and turn the volume up again. This should solve your volume issue.

Each portal has its own separate volume settings and saves them independently.

Step 1:

Open the App and there you need to accept their terms of use for the first time.

Step 3:
As the TOU is accepted it will ask you to ADD NEW USER

Step 4 via File/URL:
There are 2 ways of adding a profile/user of IPTV. 1 Login with Xtream Codes API and second Load your Playlist or File/URL.

For File/URL click on first option and add the long URL of m3u or select downloaded m3u file and use any Name. Now click on Add User.

Step 4 via API:
To login via API we need to use m3u link login. here is the way of using data. An m3u link will look like this; http://example.com:8000/get.php?username=test12&password=test23&type=m3u . The login is inside this link. The usable links are marked in colors like: http://url_here.com:port | username | password .

Step 5:
Now you’re logged in and a profile has been created like this:

Step 6:
Click on profile (long press if not working). You will see 3 options Login | Edit | Delete. Go for Login.

Step 7:
We’re successfully logged in and now are on dashboard. There you can see many options like LIVE TV, MOVIES, SERIES, INSTALL EPG, RECORDINGS, CATCHUP and 4 icons above of users, settings, account info and notifications. You can simple click on Live TV and enjoy services.

Series:

Click on SERIES from dashboard and you’ll get the list of series available there and watch it.

Install EPG:

Clicking on Install EPG available on dashboard will start loading EPG automatically. Just click on this and nothing to do here anymore.

Recordings:

Long pressing on channel shows us an option of Start Recording, while you’re watching a program you can record it and can watch it later when you want. You need to select the offline folder where you wanna save the recordings.

Catchup:

Catchup is another best recording feature provided by your IPTV service provider. This keeps the file stored on the server not offline. The is best than recordings above because you don’t need to worry about the storage here.

Account Info:

The second icon after notification bell on dashboard, clicking on this show you the information about your subscription including expiry date, trial info, limit of connections, creation date and more:

Notifications:

When you’re using their app for a long time, when they add a new feature you can see that in notifications like this:

LIVE TV:

Clicking on LIVE TV will show you categories country wise.

Clicking on a category will open the available channels list, will load icons (if available).

You can press tab button and get quick access to few great features including updating EPG and List.

Long press channel name and will see options like recording and favorites.

Settings:

There are many setting options lets cover 1 by one.

General Settings:

There you can setup AutoStart on bootup, Show Full EPG, Active Subtitles, Set user agent and change language. By default settings are correct. If wanna change can do here.

EPG Time Shift:

By default its 0 you can change it to any number and save it.

Stream Format:

Its select default, you can save it as MPEGTS (.ts format) or HLS (.m3u8) format. Most commonly used in MPEGTS.

Time Format:

By default its 24 hours, you can change it to 12 hours and save it.

EPG Timeline:

The default selected is Show All channels, but i’ll recommend to go for Show Channels only with EPG. So if there is no EPG with any channel it will nothing showup there, otherwise a default message will be keep showing there.

Automation:

Keep the both options checked as they are check by default already. If wanna change you can uncheck here.

Set Parental Password:

This the security feature, if you’ve kids at home and there adult channels in the list, you can lock them and the password only you know. So,when kids are gonna click on this channel it will ask for a password to stream it.

Player Selection:

The default setting will be Built-in Player, but you can change it if you’ve already selected a player by clicking on ADD PLAYER button (learn in next steps).

When you’ll click on ADD PLAYER, it will show you available players.

Click on the player you want and it will confirm adding. Click on Add

Now back to Player selection, clicking on built-in player will show you another player you just selected and can save it. Next when you’ll play selected media it will auto play in your selected player.

Player Settings:

There are more settings for your player, i will suggest to keep default settings.

External Players:

You will see now all external players if you’ve already added, to remove them click on player name or long press on name and it will show an option remove. Click and remove it if you want to remove.

Checking for Updates:

Click on it and it will update it if an update is available.
